[Contract Position]

SINDA is dedicated to empowering families and uplifting the Indian community through meaningful programmes, talks, workshops, and initiatives that support the holistic development of parents and children.

We are seeking a proactive and well-organised Executive to join our Family Development Division. In this role, you will play a key part in planning, developing, and executing impactful programmes and events aimed at strengthening family bonds and supporting the uplift of the Indian community.

Key Responsibilities

Programme Planning & Coordination

  • Assist in the conceptualisation and planning of programmes, talks, events, and workshops

  • Support programme execution, including coordination of logistics and stakeholders

  • Liaise with and source for speakers, emcees, vendors, and venue partners, which may be carried out as a quotation exercise or treated as a small value purchase, depending on the procurement guidelines.

  • Prepare logistics lists and source for event materials and collaterals

  • Arrange and attend meetings with external organisations and vendors

  • Conduct environmental scanning to understand what similar organisations are doing, identify best practices, and explore how we can align or improve our approach. Build strategic partnerships with relevant organisations to enhance the reach and impact of our programmes.

Monitoring & Evaluation

  • Collate and manage programme data for internal review and reporting

  • Conduct outcome measurements and generate evaluation reports on impact of the programmes

  • Support After Action Review (AAR) sessions to improve future programming

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, service providers, and community partners

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Candidates with a Diploma or Degree in Psychology or Early Childhood Education are welcome to apply. Fresh graduates must possess a Degree in either field.

  • Experience in programme/event coordination will be an advantage

  • Flexible in working on weekday evenings and weekends and in outdoor settings, when required (will be compensated with time off)

  • Able to participate in SINDA-wide events, when required (will be compensated with time off/ Off in Lieu)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (eg. Excel, Power Point & Word)

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities

  • Meticulous with a keen eye for detail

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Passion for serving the community, especially families and children

This is a 2-year contract position, convertible to a permanent role subject to the performance and divisional requirements
