Job description

You will support the Facilities Development team in the design, coordination, implementation, and management of facilities planning and development projects in SingHealth Polyclinics.

Job role will include:

  • Addressing SHP’s space improvement and renovation needs by way of data collection, conceptual design, project budgeting, project scheduling, project proposal preparation, project planning, design development, procurement, site implementation, and management of construction contracts.
  • Assisting on collaboration and compilation of design standards, research, and creation of reference guides/libraries as reference for the Polyclinic’s future infrastructure development, renovation, and improvements including pandemic readiness, age friendliness, etc.
  • Ensuring proper governance on regulatory requirements including tracking of budgets and coordination with stakeholders on facilities planning and project implementation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or Interior Design, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in project planning/management in building infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD drafting, PowerPoint Presentation, and Microsoft Office is a must.
  • Knowledge of 3D or SketchUp and Microsoft Project software will be an advantage.
  • Experience in calling and documentation of renovation contracts and project accounts.
  • Well adept in project management processes and documentation.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, planning, and organization skills with a strong command of spoken and written English.
  • Team player who is also able to work independently.
