Job summary

sggovterp is seeking an Executive Engineer / Engineer (Business Requirements) to analyze and establish user requirements for the AFC system used by commuters and public transport operators in Singapore. You will work on Account-Based Ticketing and explore new payment modes in bus and MRT/LRT ticketing.

You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders to translate business and operational needs into feasible, sustainable requirements and communicate them clearly to different audiences.

Qualifications

Experience analyzing business requirements in IT or engineering projects.
Understanding of system implementation life cycle; preferably 1 project analysing requirements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Internships in payment systems or AFC/Smart Card projects are a plus.

Responsibilities

Analyse and establish users' requirements for the AFC system used by commuters and operators.
Understand and document new payment modes and how they are implemented in ticketing systems.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to rationalize business and operational needs into feasible requirements.
Translate needs into sustainable system requirements and communicate clearly to target groups.
