Job summary

SINDA is seeking an Executive for Community Engagement & Volunteer Management to expand SINDA’s network of strategic partners across community, government, and corporate sectors. You will establish partnerships, manage stakeholder relations, and identify collaborative opportunities to advance SINDA's mission serving the Indian community in Singapore.

You will coordinate stakeholder engagements, support programme delivery, and contribute to data reporting and administration.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience in stakeholder management, partnerships or business development.
  • Experience with community organisations, government agencies or corporate partners is advantageous.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new strategic partnerships with community organisations, government agencies, and corporate partners.
  • Maintain and strengthen ongoing partner relationships for sustained collaboration.
  • Coordinate engagement sessions, meetings and reviews with stakeholders.
  • Assist in drafting MOUs and partnership agreements; support negotiations.
  • Track partnership activities and provide progress updates to management.

Job description

The Executive, Community Engagement & Volunteer Management (CEVM), plays a key role

in expanding and strengthening SINDA's network of strategic partners across the community,

corporate, government and social service sectors. The role is responsible for establishing new

partnerships, maintaining existing stakeholder relationships and identifying collaborative

opportunities that advance SINDA's programmes and support SINDA’s mission of serving

the Indian community in Singapore.

Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, the Executive will develop

meaningful partnerships that create shared value, enhance community outreach and increase

opportunities for beneficiaries through collaborative initiatives. The incumbent will support

partnership development efforts, coordinate stakeholder engagements and contribute to the

successful delivery of community programmes and projects.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnerships
  • Identify, establish and develop new strategic partnerships with community organisations, government agencies, corporate organisations, educational institutions and other stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing partners to ensure sustained collaboration and engagement.
  • Explore opportunities for joint programmes, sponsorships, volunteer initiatives and community engagement projects.
  • Support the development and implementation of partnership engagement strategies aligned with organisational goals.
  • Represent SINDA professionally during stakeholder engagements, networking sessions and partnership events.
Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary liaison for assigned partners and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement stakeholder engagement plans to strengthen relationships and encourage long‑term collaboration.
  • Coordinate regular engagement sessions, meetings and partnership reviews.
  • Manage stakeholder enquiries and ensure timely follow‑up and communication.
  • Identify emerging partnership opportunities aligned with organisational priorities.
  • Recommend new collaboration models and initiatives that create mutual value for both SINDA and its partners.
  • Support the negotiation, administration and implementation of partnership agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs).
  • Conduct research and environmental scans to identify potential collaboration opportunities and community needs.
  • Work closely with internal departments to facilitate partner involvement in community initiatives and programmes.
  • Coordinate partner participation in key engagement platforms, volunteer activities and community events.
  • Monitor project timelines and ensure successful delivery of collaborative initiatives.
  • Support event planning, logistics coordination and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Track project progress and provide timely updates to management and stakeholders.
Data Analytics & Administration
  • Maintain accurate partnership records, stakeholder databases and engagement reports.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, meeting materials and updates for management and stakeholders.
  • Track partnership outcomes and evaluate collaboration effectiveness through data analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure proper documentation and adherence to organisational processes and policies.
Team Contribution
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to support departmental and organisational objectives.
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations to improve stakeholder engagement, partnership outcomes and operational processes.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer / HOD.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Social Sciences, Public Policy or a related discipline. Candidates with equivalent qualifications and relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in stakeholder management, partnerships, account management, business development, corporate relations or community engagement.
  • Experience working with community organisations, government agencies or corporate partners will be an advantage.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and develop mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Strong coordination, planning and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple stakeholders and priorities.
  • Good negotiation, problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Organised, resourceful, proactive and detail oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Participate in Divisional and SINDA‑wide events when required.
  • Flexible to work on weekday evenings and Saturdays. (Time off will be provided to compensate for approved overtime hours worked)
