Job summary

J.P. Morgan in Singapore seeks an Executive Director for the Precious Metals trading team to provide bespoke derivatives to corporate and investor clients globally. We quote and risk manage OTC spot, forwards, swaps, and vanilla and exotic options, as well as futures and listed options, and engage in physical metals markets.

The role combines client coverage, risk oversight and collaboration with technology and quantitative research to grow electronic capabilities and execute trades for the desk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related discipline.
• At least 8 years in Precious Metals/FX or macro derivatives.
• Strong risk assessment of trading positions and market events.
• Comfort with options risk management and competitive pressures.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, open environment.

Responsibilities

• Make markets in vanilla and exotic options on precious metals and crosses.
• Strategic risk management of client flows and orders.
• Maintain client focus and relationship management.
• Collaborate with bullion technology and Quant groups to grow electronic capabilities.
• Book trades on behalf of the business.
