Job Description - Executive Director, Offshore Business (OBM) GCNA (2500001V)

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Offshore Business Manager (GCNA) has overall hands-on responsibility for the cluster which entails leadership, profitability, operational efficiency, service, strategy, execution, risk management and corporate governance of the cluster.

The OBM’s key roles and responsibilities include:

1. Manage, lead, and coach Offshore Premier Managers to achieve cluster revenue targets and AUM and growth plans.
2. Provide direction and strategy to drive sales performance and productivity aligned with the growth of Premier Banking Asia in GCNA.
3. Inculcate a high-performance culture to attract, develop, and retain talents.
4. Manage and engage internal and external stakeholders to have effective oversight on risk, compliance matters, as well as changes in regulation and policies that may impact business.
5. Develop key and secondary GCNA markets by building a strong network onshore and offshore.
6. Lead and drive strategic initiatives or business plans for the cluster.

Qualifications

Requirements:

1. Possess a degree in any discipline from an accredited university/college.
2. Minimum 15 years in branch sales position with at least 10 years in leadership experience managing leaders and teams (experience as an offshore cluster head is a plus).
3. Strong networking and business acumen.
4. Familiarity with the offshore (GCNA) market is a bonus.
5. Fluency in spoken and written English and Mandarin as the role covers clients in GCNA.
6. Strong leadership and strategic thinking are critical.
