We are seeking a pioneering Executive Director to lead our CyberSG Talent, Innovation and Growth (TIG) Collaboration Centre, established in collaboration with the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA). The Centre acts as a platform to integrate and create cybersecurity programs for industry and talent development in Singapore and serves as a global hub for international cooperation on innovation. It aims to build a vibrant cybersecurity ecosystem by bringing together local and international stakeholders, including industry, academia, cybersecurity professionals, and government entities, to capitalize on digitalization opportunities. The Executive Director will be responsible for:

  • Strategic Leadership: Developing and executing strategic plans aligned with organizational goals; providing visionary leadership to enhance cybersecurity capabilities and resilience; driving the Centre’s strategic initiatives across Talent, Innovation, and Growth.
  • Operational Oversight: Managing daily operations, implementing cybersecurity programs, policies, and procedures; developing strategic roadmaps; establishing KPIs, metrics, and reporting frameworks to measure performance and impact.
  • Team Management: Recruiting, developing, and leading a skilled cybersecurity team; fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.
  • Collaboration and Partnerships: Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders; engaging with high-level executives locally and internationally; promoting the Centre as a prime collaboration partner globally.
  • Risk Management: Conducting risk assessments, developing mitigation strategies, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards, and leading crisis management efforts during cybersecurity incidents.
  • Budget & Governance: Managing the Centre’s budget; providing financial reports; ensuring governance and accountability.
  • Training and Awareness: Developing cybersecurity awareness and training programs; staying updated on industry trends; fostering thought leadership for the Centre and Singapore as a cybersecurity innovation hub.

Requirements

  • Leadership Skills: Strong management and leadership abilities; decision-making and problem-solving skills; excellent interpersonal skills; experience managing diverse teams and complex stakeholders; extensive network within the cybersecurity sector.
  • Education: At least a Master’s degree in Information Security or a related field; Ph.D. preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years in cybersecurity leadership roles; proven success in managing programs and teams; deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices; experience in organizational administration and community engagement.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CASP+, CISSP, or CISA are highly desirable.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex cybersecurity concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strategic Vision & Collaboration: Ability to develop and implement long-term visions; fostering collaboration with stakeholders; understanding emerging cybersecurity risks and technologies; demonstrating adaptability in a rapidly evolving industry.
