Executive Director, Business Development, Global Markets & Treasury Asia Pacific

Group Head for Sales & Trading Strategy and Client Onboarding. This role will be responsible for leading a team of professionals to develop and execute sales & trading strategies and oversee client onboarding across Asia Pacific and the East Asia region. Client onboarding includes legal documentation necessary for financial products.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales & trading strategies to maximize reach to our clients while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Work on the development of new products, and prioritizing key workstreams in order to fuel business growth for the Global Markets & Treasury Department in the region.
• Oversee the client onboarding process, to ensure efficient and effective onboarding of new clients.
• Collaborate with other departments within the bank to ensure alignment and integration of strategies and processes.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Liaise with various parties and departments [sales, traders, management, risk control, back office, IT, etc.] for issues and implement solutions.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in sales & trading strategy, risk governance, and/or client onboarding.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales & trading strategies.
• Strong understanding of risk governance and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in Japanese language preferred for regular communication with the head office in Japan.
• Strong ethics.
