Job summary

A construction firm in Singapore seeks an Executive/Design & Coordination Engineer. Roles & Responsibilities

Your Role

• Coordinate design drawings with consultants to comply with requirements of the authorities

• Supervise a team of BIM Modelers for the production of coordinated shop drawings and Concrete Body Plans

• Review and provide solutions to technical problems as well as plan, monitor and report shop drawing production progress

• Resolve construction issues on drawings and liaise closely with Architectural and M&E teams as well as the authorities

• Prepare technical submissions for materials, construction methods and C&S shop drawings

• Attend coordination meetings with consultants, clients, and subcontractors

Executive/ Design & Coordination Engineer

• Possess a Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering with relevant design working experience with contractors

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in design and coordination roles in the construction industry

• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and technical detailing.

• Be conversant in British & Singapore Design Standards

• Be independent, analytical, highly motivated with excellent team spirit and interpersonal skills
