Job Scope
- Plan and organize to ensure daily Warehouse operations meets expectation and delivery timeline.
- Operate the program in a cost-effective manner whilst meeting all requirements.
- Ensure all goods in the warehouse are properly collected, received, handled, accurately sorted, identified, value-added, transferred and dispatched.
- Lead and motivate staff to achieve company's, supplier's and customer's objectives.
- Enforce compliance to the warehouse procedures and safety and 5S and audit requirement.
- Ensure staff compliance to all established processes and accuracy in data processing.
- Perform process evaluation, initiate process improvement and oversee project implementation.
- Manage customer complaints and communicate effectively to resolve conflicts.
- Manage manpower deployment and arrange for overtime when the need arises.
- Good control of stock inventory accuracy and accountability.
- Evaluate and setup operations procedures when necessary.
Specific Accountabilities
- Approve leave application for admin and store personnel.
- Identify and schedule training for the warehouse administration staff.
- Initiate system change request.
Skills Required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, Powerpoint, Access, VBA).
- Good in using and creating operations dashboards to identify focus areas and drive improvement (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).
- Good knowledge in process mapping and value stream mapping to identify improvement areas.
- Strong presentation skills and able to articulate and present to multiple stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience in resolving problems creatively and innovatively.
- Frequently voice out opinions and share best practices to improve team performance.
- Communicate effectively with internal / external customers.
- Good analytical skills to review both financial and operational data.
- Good knowledge in latest automation technologies and implementation.
- Good leadership and coaching skills to continuously encourage and motivate employees.
- Good in working with numerous data to define, implement and monitor KPI and provide data driven insights and identify areas for improvement.
Experience and Qualification
- Minimum Diploma Holder or Degree holder.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations / customer service.
- Positive mindset, team player and high desire for learning.
- Detail oriented, analytical and innovative.
- Adaptable to fast-moving work environment.
