Mercer Careers is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Singapore office:

Executive Compensation Consultant

We will count on you for:

1) Client Engagement

  • Collaborate with colleagues in various markets to manage client projects from inception to completion, utilizing project management tools to prepare project charts, templates, and detailed timelines for project milestones.

  • Serve as an independent project manager for straightforward projects or modules, ensuring adherence to budget and timelines.

  • Proactively identify and address out-of-scope issues or budget overruns, effectively managing client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Prioritize project activities to balance workload and meet deadlines, delegating tasks based on individual capabilities and development needs.

  • Lead internal and client project status meetings, providing updates and addressing any concerns.

2) Thought Leadership and Knowledge Management

  • Develop, adapt, and deliver standard training programs for internal teams and clients, sharing best practices and insights.

  • Ensure that intellectual capital generated within projects is captured and made accessible for future reference and use by the team.

  • Actively curate and contribute to knowledge management forums, collating and sharing personal learnings, insights, and industry trends to enhance team capabilities.

  • Collaborate on drafting thought leadership articles for various markets together with the market and leaders

  • Draft materials for client forums to showcase our latest trends and developments

3) Business Development Suport

  • Write project proposals and respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), showcasing our capabilities and value proposition

  • Identify opportunities for project extensions based on existing work and client needs, actively participating in sales calls and presentations.

What you need to have:

  • Minimum 5 years of broad-based rewards experience in a consulting and/or in-house role with executive compensation expertise.

  • Ability to manage projects independently.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent client engagement skills for presenting proposals, point of views, project outcomes, etc.

  • Target driven, agile and highly motivated.

  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
