Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Report to the Senior Manager – Community Engagement and the Management Council.
  • Review, manage, and process applications for interest-free study loans.
  • Prepare and present reports on loan disbursements, repayments, and defaults.
  • Maintain accurate student records, loan agreements, and repayment data using the Student Relationship Management System.
  • Prepare reports for grant disbursements and SINDA FSC referrals.
  • Apply for government and other external grants to support various office initiatives and projects.
  • Support the Assistant Manager in preparing donor progress reports by providing repayment figures and confirming committed, utilised, and unutilised fund balances.
  • Assist with general secretariat operations and office administration.
  • Coordinate and maintain IT systems and infrastructure updates.
  • Assist in planning and executing fundraising initiatives, office functions and community engagement events.
  • Liaising with auditors, managing internal documentation, and coordinating closely with the bookkeeper on audit-related matters.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Business , Communications or related courses.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Xero and general IT systems.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, meticulous and positive attitude.
  • Proactive team player able to work independently with minimal supervision.
