Job Description

Accor is in a partnership with one of the World's Leading Airlines, to manage the Lounge operations located in Changi Airport.

The Executive Chef is responsible for management of the kitchen team to ensure food preparation, production, implementation of menus are maintained at a high standard. This role involves menu development, team leadership, kitchen operations, food safety compliance and collaboration with lounge management to enhance the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards (e.g., HACCP).
  • Monitor food costs and minimize waste through efficient stock management.
  • Collaborate with lounge managers to align food offerings
  • Respond to guest feedback and occasionally interact with guests to personalize service.
  • Ensure compliance with airport and airline partner regulations
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching.
  • Manage kitchen budgets, supplier relationships and procurement.
  • Prepare reports on kitchen performance, food costs and staff productivity.

  • Experience in hospitality, airline catering or luxury lounge operations
  • Proven leadership in managing diverse culinary teams.
  • Strong knowledge of international cuisines and dietary requirements
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
