Job description

Job Description

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to each of the following key areas:

  1. Fixed Assets Management
    - Maintain accurate records of the department’s fixed assets and comply with NUS financial policies and guidelines, including asset tagging, system updates, asset verification, retirement, and disposal.
    - Conduct secure data wipeout from IT equipment to be disposed of, in accordance with NUS IT guidelines.
    - Liaise with vendors for asset disposal processes.
  2. Strategic Communications
    - Support the development and design of content for department websites and other media platforms such as blogs and social media.
    - Provide write-ups and updates on department events and outreach initiatives targeted at NUS faculty and the public.
  3. Other Administrative Tasks
    - Provide secretarial support to the Director of Instructional Technology and managers, including scheduling meetings and managing visits/events.
    - Handle procurement processes, including submitting requests for asset creation, purchase orders, and service requests for quotes and tenders.
    - Support department’s risk and crisis management activities.
    - Manage office supplies, pantry supplies, and office equipment (e.g., card access systems).
    - Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • A University degree.
  • Preferably 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Meticulous and well-organized.
  • Basic knowledge in designing/developing User Interface/User Experience for websites and interactive media, including low-code platforms like WordPress, Power Automate, Power BI.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Effective team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
