A leading university in Singapore seeks a candidate to manage fixed assets and support strategic communications for its Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology. The role includes administrative duties such as secretarial support and procurement management, requiring meticulous organization, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and interactive media platforms.

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to each of the following key areas
1. Fixed Assets Management
- Maintain accurate records of the department's fixed assets and comply with NUS financial policies and guidelines. This includes asset tagging, system updates, asset verification, retirement and disposal
- Carry out secure data wipeout from IT equipment to be disposed of and comply with NUS IT guidelines
- Liaise with the vendor for disposal of assets and item
2. Strategic Communications
- Support the development and design of content for department websites and other interactive media platforms such as blogs, social media posts
- Provide write-ups/short updates of department events/outreach initiatives targeted at NUS faculty members and publi
3. Other administrative tasks
- Provide secretarial support to Director (Instructional Technology) and managers including scheduling of meetings, visits/events
- Handle procurement (as alternate) including submission of requests to create asset numbers, to raise Purchase Orders and/or Service Requests for Invitation to Quote and Tenders
- Support department's risk and crisis management matters
- Manage office and pantry supplies and office equipment matters (card access system, etc.)
- Any other duties assigned by management
1. A University degree.
2. Preferably with 1-2 years of working experience
3. Meticulous and well-organized
4. Able to and/or have basic knowledge in the design/development of basic User Interface / User Experience for websites or other interactive media platforms, as well as for low code plafforms such as WordPress, Power Automate, Power BI, etc.
5. Strong written communication skills
6. Effective team player with excellent interpersonal skills
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office application
