A leading F&B company in Singapore seeks a Business Development Support professional to assist in the Ready-to-Eat meal Vending Machine segment. Candidates must possess strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach. Responsibilities include identifying market opportunities and maintaining client relationships. The role requires personal transportation and the ability to work 5.5 days a week.
Job Purpose:
This role will support the Business Development Manager inour Ready-to-Eat meal Vending Machine Business Segment. The incumbent requires excellent interpersonal and organization skills; and should hold an interest in F&B business development, such as prospecting, networking, negotiating and after-sales servicing.
The candidate must possess his/her personal transportation.
Responsibilities:
Always on a lookout for industry news, particularly in the F&B Vending Machine or Ready-to-Eat meal marketing
Always on a lookout and identifying potential new market opportunities
Assist in tender and renewal negotiations and team meetings
Assist in site visits and evaluation to propose potential vending machine placement locations
Establish and maintain good client relationships, including after-sales servicing and client problem solving
Manage internal gate processes from proposal to launch of vending machines at location
Keep good documentation and records of the all agreements and contracts
Perform weekly portfolio reviews and reports
Work closely with relevant departments (e.g. marketing team, business strategy team) to support the business growth of our brands
Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking occasions as part of Branding and Business Development efforts for the company
Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum GCE ‘O’ level or other equivalent course with 1 – 2 years of working experience in similar capacity
Strong communication skills
At least 1 year in Customer Sales or Business Development role
Customer-centric, proactive, resourceful and organized individual
Self-driven individual to achieve sales targets
Able to work 5.5 days a week
