Job summary

A leading company is seeking a Payroll Executive to manage payroll processing and HR tasks for subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will have a degree in HRM, with at least 3 years of experience in HR, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. This role involves ensuring compliance with local regulations and handling employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of HR experience.
  • Strong understanding of the Singapore Employment Act and local regulations.
  • Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Handle full spectrum of payroll processing.
  • Prepare statutory submission to CPF & IRAS.
  • Perform monthly payroll reconciliation and reporting.

Job description

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Handle full spectrum of payroll processing

  • Administer and execute payroll processing for assigned subsidiaries, includes updating new hires, resignation, & calculation of overtime & allowances

  • Execute off-cycle payroll on AWS and Variable Bonus

  • Prepare bank files for submission

  • Prepare statutory submission to CPF & IRAS and ensure timely and accurate processing in compliance with statutory requirements and company policies

  • Process monthly claims and verify receipts for payments

  • Perform monthly payroll reconciliation and reporting to Finance

  • Handle employees’ enquiries pertaining to payroll matter

Shared Services:

  • Update employee data into the SAP system

  • Manage end-to-end process for pre-employment, application and renewal of work and dependent pass

  • Letters preparation

  • Documentation control and filing

  • Provide government grant disbursement reports

  • Undertakes ad-hoc projects or assignments as and when required

Requirement

  • Degree/Diploma in HRM or equivalent HR relevant certificates.

  • At least 3 years of HR experience, either from a HR generalist and/or payroll background

  • Strong in-depth understanding of the Singapore Employment Act and other local regulations.

  • Able to work independently under pressure and enjoys working in a dynamic team environment.

  • Good relationship/ stakeholders’ management, presentation, communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills

  • Mature and hands-on person who is proactive, driven with positive working and learning attitude.
