Job summary

About Us

The company was created through a merger of three Japanese container shipping firms. We are ranked as one of the global shipping carriers and function as an agency office for Ocean Network Express. Purpose

Proactively resolve vessel loading/discharging operation challenges and to improve operational efficiency

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and work closely with GC Operation, Berthing & Yard teams to optimize overall resources and vessel operational flow.

  • Manage and plan the vessels’ pre-arrival & post-arrival schedules. Monitor and keep track of the vessel schedules through the delivery process.

  • Comply to local law regulations and performing port formalities such as immigration and MPA vessel clearance.

  • Submission of arrival bayplan, distributing container list and retrieval of departure bayplan to maximize economy of shipping and safety onboard.

  • Provide support in other activities as required for vessel operation.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates with at least a Higher NITEC / Diploma in Maritime or Shipping-related disciplines are preferred.

  • Preferably candidates with at least 2 years relevant experience in the same field.

  • Candidates with no experience will be considered.

  • Able and willing to work irregular hours, including late nights, weekends and public holidays, depending on vessel schedule.

  • May be required to board the assigned vessels.

  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Able to work under stress and fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications and G-suite tools.
