Job summary

A leading insurance company in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented accounting candidate to handle client communications, reconcile accounts, and manage payments. The ideal applicant should have a Diploma in Accounting, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and be available on short notice. This role requires handling high volumes of transactions and ensuring timely follow-ups with clients and brokers.

Qualifications

  • Must possess at least Diploma in Accounting/Finance/Banking or equivalent.
  • Available within short notice.
  • Singapore Citizen and Permanent Residents only.

Responsibilities

  • Attend to mails from clients and brokers promptly.
  • Liaise with underwriting and claims departments on requests.
  • Generate and reconcile Statement of Accounts (SOAs).
  • Ensure timely payments to clients/brokers.
  • Chase clients/brokers for outstanding dues.
  • Report to underwriting department on long outstanding cases.
  • Resolve unallocated receipts.

Job description

  • To attend / acknowledge mails received from various clients and brokers and ensure response given within a reasonable time
  • To liaise with the underwriting departments and the claim departments in context of the various request received from clients / brokers
  • To generate the Statement of Accounts (SOAs) from the system, reconcile them regularly and exchange with the clients and brokers
  • To liaise with the payment department for timely payments to the clients / brokers
  • To keep chasing brokers / clients for company’s dues and ensure timely realization of outstanding premium
  • Reporting to the underwriting department for long outstanding cases
  • Perform reconciliation of the SOAs in a timely manner
  • Resolve unallocated receipts and liaise with the internal and external stakeholders
  • Submission of credit control report
  • Debtors ageing status reviewing
  • Any other duties assigned by Head of Department (HOD)

Requirement

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Accounting/Finance/Banking or equivalent.
  • Candidate who can cope with high volume of transactions.
  • Candidate who is available within short notice
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Meticulous, have an eye on detail, flexible
  • Singapore Citizen and Permanent Residents only
