Executive Assistant and Translator (Chinese-English-Indonesian)

The Opportunity

The Executive Assistant and Translator position is based in Singapore and supports Gentco’s global executive team, primarily the Chairman of the Junzheng Group. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting key models and reports (both internally and externally) as well as ensuring seamless communication across Chinese, English, and Indonesian contexts. This role will report directly to a member of the global executive team and will work closely with business leaders in Shanghai, Singapore, and Jakarta.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist in drafting executive summaries, board materials, and investment presentations with a clear structure and professional feel.
2. Provide high-quality written and verbal translation across Mandarin Chinese, English, and Indonesian for meetings, official communications, and business documents.
3. Coordinate executive calendars, meetings, and travel logistics across multiple time zones, ensuring optimal preparation and follow-up.
4. Handle confidential information and executive-level correspondence with discretion and professionalism.
5. Assist in general executive administration and special projects as needed.

Requirements:

1. 2+ years of professional experience in a business, finance, or operations-adjacent role.
2. Strong ability and willingness to learn quickly; highly responsive to feedback and comfortable iterating in fast-paced environments.
3. Excellent general technical proficiency across Windows, macOS, iPadOS, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
4. Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
5. Willingness to work flexible hours to support time-sensitive tasks, as well as to travel internationally for work (no more than once per month).
6. Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in any field.

Desirable Qualities:

1. Educational background in business, law, economics, technology, or a related technical field.
2. Formal training, certification, or work experience in professional translation or interpretation.
3. Previous experience in the logistics, transportation, and/or industrial sectors.
4. Previous experience in investment banking, management consulting, or within a funds/family office environment.
5. Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive.
