Job summary

Job description

Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

Operations Excellence

  • Perform shift responsibilities and ensure smooth daily operations of the park and deliver exceptional guest experience through storytelling and creating moments of delight.
  • Manage guest feedback on-ground and close service lapses.
  • Perform accurate transactions at ticketing touchpoints in accordance with protocol.
  • Manage incidents and raise incident reports as required.
  • Review, propose and execute ideas to improve on guest experience.
  • Ensure safe and smooth Adventure operations including conducting daily safety checks and securing guests onto high-element rides.
  • Manage Adventure facility vendor including daily manpower planning/ deployment and training.
  • Ensure safe work practices are carried out.

Staff Management

  • Assist in staff management, including manpower planning/ deployment and training.

Others

  • Assist in wildlife management efforts.
  • Manage assigned portfolio and projects.
  • Other relevant duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in tourism/ hospitality management and/ or outdoor adventure learning.
  • At least 2 years of experience in adventure-related industry, preferably with supervisory experience
  • Pleasant, courteous, and confident disposition.
  • Strong communication skills with good command of written and spoken English.
  • Excellent team player who can also work independently.
  • Resourceful self-starter with a keen work attitude, good with time management and problem-solving.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Able to work on weekends, school holidays and public holidays.
