A leading company in marine services is seeking a finance professional to support their Finance team. The role involves managing accounts, preparing financial reports, and improving processes. Ideal candidates should have a relevant degree, strong analytical skills, and experience with budgeting software, along with a commitment to delivering quality results.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Candidates are expected to assist and support the Finance team in the following:
Handle accounts (GL and FA);
Prepare journals, perform data entry and assist with accounting activities;
Prepare monthly management schedules, reports and analysis;
Liaise with internal stakeholders on GL and FA related matters;
Improve and streamline finance process workflow, internal controls and compliance;
Assist with Anaplan budgeting software enhancement and maintenance; and
Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate should preferably:-
Possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Accountancy/ ACCA or equivalent;
At least 3 years of relevant working experience;
Possess strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills;
Detail-oriented and excellent interpersonal skills;
Committed and self-driven individual with good stress management;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications; and
Proficiency in Oracle, Smartview and Anaplan budgeting software is highly preferred.
