Who We're Looking For

The Execution Trader ("ET") role provides an opportunity to work closely with experienced Portfolio Managers, understand different trading strategies, and interact directly with trading counterparty and broker relationships.

Responsibilities

• Execute trades for Portfolio Managers across different assets and trading strategies
• Maintain trading counterparty and broker relationships
• Book trades, monitor positions and risks in the portfolios
• Monitor uptime and performance, investigate technical issues of algorithmic trading strategies
• Liaising between the trading desk and support functions
• Work across market time zones, which include nights and weekends

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in trading in any asset class, knowledge in derivatives and cryptocurrencies is advantageous
• Proficiency in Python, especially in the context of financial modelling, data analysis, and algorithm research and development
• Knowledge of financial markets and trading strategies
• Ability and capacity to work in a 24/7 market
• Strong collaborative skills and enjoys working in a team-oriented environment; the ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff
• A keen eye for details and strong analytical skills
• Clear and articulate communication skills
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and make fast-paced decisions under pressure
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards
