Our client is an events business specializing in the global financial services sector and they are looking for a sharp, detail-driven Event Operations Specialist to join their team. You will ensure the seamless operation and logistics of events to meet the standards of their clients.
Responsibilities:
Support everything from planning to execution, working closely with vendors, partners and internal teams to make sure every detail is on point.
Develop and roll out operational plans to meet client and internal goals.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and partners to secure venues, AV equipment, catering, and other services.
Support budget tracking and help manage resources efficiently.
Be on-site (or on-call for virtual events) to ensure smooth operations from start to finish.
Review how things went and suggest ways to make future events even better.
Must-haves:
A degree or diploma in Business, Events, Hospitality, or a related field.
A strong interest in event operations or prior experience in an events or operations role.
Super organized, detail-obsessed and great at juggling multiple tasks.
Solid communication and negotiation skills.
Comfortable working under pressure and rolling with last-minute changes.
