Events & Marketing Coordinator

Job Description

Provides marketing support and assists in all Events for Members and F&B promotion-related matters.

Initiate special events for Members with support from Management.

Develop and maintain good contacts with local editors, columnists, radio and TV news personalities, and locally based trade media.

Plan publicity ‘campaigns’ for special events.

Represent the Club in certain functions/events outside the Club.

Evaluate opportunities for the Club in local community activities such as charity or benefits.

Seek sponsorships for events or F&B promotions.

Design or create artwork to be used as promotional materials.

Write or review marketing proposals.

Constantly follow up with the Accounts Department.

Set a calendar of events and inform members through the monthly magazine, flyers, and posters.

Maximize exposure for the Club.

Reach out to companies such as restaurants, supermarkets, butchers, and schools in the vicinity to participate in the events through the display of posters and flyers.

Review it together with Management to justify participation.

Sponsorships that could complement the event (cash) or be included as prizes.

Such artworks will be used in publicity or for advertising in magazines or newspapers.

All proposals for events or promotions will be discussed with Management and approved before their commencement.

Review the P&L Statement Analysis for the various promotions organized.

Organize activities such as Fire Station Visit, Easter Hunt, Cooking Demonstration, etc.

Requirement

Diploma holder.

1 year of experience in event coordination.

No experience but keen in events and marketing roles are welcome to apply.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
