A leading event management company in Singapore is seeking an Events Coordinator to plan and execute internal and external events. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in Events Management or a related field, along with 1-3 years of experience in events coordination. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask under pressure are essential. The role may require working evenings or weekends depending on event schedules.
Key Responsibilities
1. Events Planning & Strategy
· Plan, coordinate, and execute internal and external events, including corporate functions, product launches, conferences, exhibitions, and staff activities.
· Develop event concept ideas (if applicable), contact suppliers, and develop event costing as part of event planning
· Understand every event’s executional challenges ahead of time and highlight potential issues to management and other related WingsOverAsia functions
· Able to understand competitive landscape independently and recommend strategy/plan adjustments
2. Event Execution & Operations
· Execute events and meet customer service levels and expectations for all events and associated KPIs – customer survey, feedback, events planning milestones, events execution timeliness, adherence to events budgets, etc
· Track planning and setup progress as part of scheduled events’ execution
· Facilitate on-site for event setup, execution, and teardown. Ensure smooth flow and coordination during the event.
· Communicate and work with internal and external parties to plan, set up, and execute events
3. Marketing Communications
· Collaborate with the marketing team to develop event-related materials (e.g., invitations, brochures, online content) and manage event registration and promotional campaigns.
· Maintain up-to-date events calendar in WOA facilities (Lounge, Rooftop Terrace, Board Room, Hangar66 Café area, etc)
· Conduct post-event evaluations and generate reports on event success, ROI, and areas for improvement.
4. Supplier & Vendor Management
· Source caterers, AV equipment, decorators, and other suppliers, including pre-event briefings.
· Maintain central event support service supplier listings with latest pricing and assessment of product/service quality, and effective working relationship
Requirements
· Diploma or Degree in Events Management, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
· 1–3 years of relevant experience in events coordination or project management.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Able to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of design or event software is a plus.
· Willing to work evenings or weekends depending on event schedules.
