A leading company in agritourism is seeking an Event Executive to manage farm tours and events. The role involves customer service, meticulous planning, and creative social media marketing. Ideal candidates are organized, creative, and passionate about interacting with people, particularly children.
JOB SUMMARY
The Event Executive will play a crucial role in the success of our farm tours and events. This position requires a blend of customer service excellence, meticulous planning and coordination, and innovative social media marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, creative, and customer-focused, with a passion for agritourism and events.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service
· Handle incoming calls and customers' enquiries over phone, text, email and social media, delivering an excellent level of customer service
· Resolve all customer queries regarding booking and payment methods
· Provide product information, pricing details, availability to customer by working accordingly together with respective internal teams
· Manage and resolve customer complaints
· Issue of quotation and invoices
· Following up on payment status and billing portals with customer
Planning and Coordination
· Coordinate booking details with customers and update on the system
· Generate daily tour flow on a weekly basis
· Procuring, stock taking and maintaining of the equipment required for farm tour
· Lead farm tours when necessary
· Support other ad-hoc tasks when required
Social Media Marketing
· Conceptualise and create content across our social media platforms
· Schedule and publish post across various social media platform channels
· Monitor and respond to comments and messages across our social media platforms
· Support other marketing initiatives and projects as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS
● Minimum Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Business or any field
● Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; relevant experience in event management will be an advantage. Experienced senior candidates who are seeking a more engaging, people-focused role in a farm environment are also encouraged to apply.
● Excellent communication skills and a good command of written English
● Enjoys people to people interaction (especially children)
● Customer-focused with good attention to detail
● Able to communicate effectively with partners and clients in English and Chinese, as the role requires frequent liaison with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
● Able to work independently and as part of a team
● Comfortable with working on weekends (as and when needed)
● Must be computer literate with good knowledge of Google Workspace e.g. Drive and Sheets
● Good knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
● 5.5 days’ work week: 8.30-5.30pm, alternate 1 weekend
● Lunch will be provided
● Transportation to and from Opposite Choa Chu Kang MRT
