Job description

You will join the dynamic Sales & Marketing Team to service existing clientele, pitch for events to secure projects and new clients. Your work scope will include conceptualisation of events, customer servicing, event co-ordination, programme planning, and other sales & marketing related activities as reasonably directed.

Main Responsibilities

Competence - Responsible for producing detailed proposals/quotations and event plans including liaising with clients to ascertain event requirements, conceptualization of themes, proposal writing with concept paper, managing budget, event timeline, identifying and recommendation of suitable venues, emcees, entertainers & etc;

Compliance - Ensuring deadlines and all work processes are adhered to, including costing for all event with detailed recording of receipts & expenditures;

Creativity - Prepare creative presentation and sales pitch to potential clients;

Management and Coordination - Interface with other departments, manage external suppliers, contractors, venue providers and all parties involved to ensure smooth coordination and execution of events; coordinating staffing requirements, hire, train, and conduct briefing for all part timers on event requirements & procedures; liaising with external agencies to ensure law compliance - e.g. Police Entertainment Unit, FSB, BCA & etc; work directly with design team to develop & coordinate all necessary collaterals etc.

Service Quality - Ensure high level of customer satisfaction by delivering premium service; accounts servicing including follow up and handle client enquiries, feedback, last minute requests, attending meetings, troubleshooting at events and ensure that all event requirements & itineraries runs smoothly

Key Requirements

1. Have a strong passion for events.

2. Ability to work nights, weekends and in accordance to event schedules when needed.

3. Positive leaning attitude and possess excellent writing, communications and organizational skills.

4. A team player who is efficient, resourceful and meticulous.

5. Able to multi-task & work independently under a fast paced environment with tight deadlines and minimum supervision.

6. Possess strong interpersonal skills, have a flair for presentation, enjoy meeting people and not afraid of addressing a big crowd.

Note:

  • Experience is good but highly positive professionals with a passion for events are even better!
  • Attractive remuneration will commensurate with relevant experience and be offered to suitable candidates.
