Habitat for Humanity Singapore seeks an Executive for Events and Marketing to lead fundraising efforts. The role involves strategic planning, event management, and relationship building to increase donations. Ideal candidates are experienced, organized professionals with strong communication skills and a passion for nonprofit work.
The Executive for Events and Marketing in the Resource Development Department plays a crucial role in driving Habitat for Humanity Singapore’s growth by securing essential donations through fundraising events and campaigns. This individual should be innovative and proactive in developing and executing fundraising plans, creating engaging content, and building strong relationships with donors and partners to increase our charity’s annual donation income.
This role is ideal for someone who is a highly motivated and organised professional who excels at managing projects. From planning campaigns to tracking progress, you’ll be seeing initiatives through from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
A) Strategic Fundraising:
· Support the Resource Development team in developing and executing innovative fundraising strategies that meet financial targets.
· Drive steady donations through HopeBuilders – monthly recurring donors.
· Draft compelling social media content to effectively promote fundraising campaigns.
B) Event, Campaign and Stakeholder Management:
· Assist the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of both online and in-person events and campaigns.
· Serve as key liaison, ensuring seamless collaboration and communications with various internal departments and external stakeholders, keeping to project objectives.
· Efficiently manage all project aspects, including sourcing sponsors and vendors, monitoring workflows and timelines, handling event logistics, marketing efforts and preparing post event reports.
C) Programme Development and Support:
· Work with the team to conceptualise and set up engaging volunteer programmes and projects designed to resonate with partners and donors to foster active participation
· Provide support for key programmes Cover With Love and UnLitter Red Dot.
A successful candidate would be
A diploma or tertiary graduate with a minimum of two consecutive years of events management experience, preferably in the non-profit sector.
A detailed-oriented and efficient multi-tasker who is also proactive, resourceful and tackles challenges head on.
Adaptable team player, able to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and Outlook) and Customer Relationship Management/ CRM software.
Familiar and active on various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
Effective communication skills written and spoken.
Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.
