Job responsibilities:
• Conduct live cooking demonstrations at various retail outlets and events.
• Support monthly activations and pop-up events, including setup, teardown, and on-site sales.
• Collaborate with part-time promoters to ensure smooth and engaging customer experiences.
• Submit timely sales reports post-event, including sales figures, customer feedback, objections, and inventory movements.
• Identify and recommend new event opportunities such as roadshows, bazaars, and seasonal fairs.
• Manage basic administrative tasks and post-event documentation
• Liaise with retail partners and stakeholders to maximise event exposure and consumer engagement.
• Monitor and track sales performance, providing updates and insights to the team.
• Assist with event logistics — including demo equipment, promotional displays, and booth fixtures.
• Provide post-event feedback and suggest improvements to enhance future activations.
• Support occasional stocktaking at retail outlets and flag low-stock or fast-moving items.
• Maintain thorough product knowledge and communicate selling points confidently to customers.
• During off-peak periods, support the marketing team in recipe creation and product content development for campaigns and social media.
• Take on other ad-hoc tasks to support overall department and event operations.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in retail, event sales, or live product demos — ideally in kitchen, lifestyle, or home appliances
• Confident and engaging communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Self-driven, responsible, and results-oriented
• Well-organized and detail-focused, especially with admin, logistics, and stock tracking
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with team members during group events
• Proficient in basic computer tasks for reporting and communication
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Mandarin, Malay, or dialects is a plus
• Minimum qualification: GCE N/O Levels or equivalent (higher education is a bonus)
• Willing to work flexible hours — including weekends, public holidays, and longer hours during major events
• Comfortable traveling across Singapore to various retail and event locations
• Physically fit to manage event setup, teardown, and transportation of equipment
• Prior experience in event coordination, roadshows, or activations is a strong advantage
• Basic cooking skills are an added advantage
