Job description

We are looking for a dynamic, resourceful, and ambitious Account Service / Event Assistant Manager to join our fast-growing team. The successful candidate will be trained and polish the skill for event management to support the assigned project.

As part of the Account Servicing team for Event, you will be sourcing, connecting with suppliers, and ensuring all event elements being assigned are delivered across multiple projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

Account Management:

  1. Develop strategic and integrated plans to enhance the customer journey across digital and on-ground channels.
  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring consistent communication and relationship management.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, decision-makers, and key influencers.
  4. Lead the project management process, ensuring timely, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery of solutions aligned with client objectives.
  5. Participate in the briefing and discovery phase to understand client needs, identify business challenges, and contribute strategic insights.
  6. Effectively manage client concerns and escalate issues to the Account Director when necessary.
  7. Collaborate with internal creative and strategy teams to develop innovative and impactful solutions.
  8. Maintain accurate tracking and reporting of key account metrics through the company’s CRM platform, including billing and profitability.
  9. Organize and maintain account documentation and archives for internal reference and continuity.

Event Management:

  1. Develop a thorough understanding of each client’s unique event requirements, including layout planning, site inspections, and coordination with external service providers.
  2. Provide attentive, personalized client service with clear and confident communication.
  3. Plan and execute events aligned with client objectives, proactively identifying and resolving potential challenges.
  4. Manage various event formats, including roundtables, conferences, hospitality functions, and appreciation events.
  5. Oversee all phases of event execution, from budgeting and planning to on-site management and post-event reporting.
  6. Negotiate with and coordinate third-party vendors to fulfill event production needs and ensure high-quality delivery.
  7. Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless event execution, including troubleshooting and real-time client support.
  8. Maintain a strong understanding of the company’s offerings and communicate these effectively to clients.
  9. Provide regular updates on project status, client interactions, and key developments on a weekly basis.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), hospitality, tourism, integrated marketing agencies, or related industries.
  • Strong client service orientation with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative, sound judgment, and personal accountability.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and perform well under pressure.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); strong writing and proofreading skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently while being a dependable and detail-oriented team player.
  • A fast learner with efficiency, adaptability, and a strong sense of urgency.
