Job summary

SHING LECK ENGINEERING SERVICE PTE. LTD. seeks a responsible driver to transport employees as directed by the Logistics Supervisor. You will observe traffic rules, maintain assigned vehicles, and arrange servicing per schedule.

The role requires a Class 3 Driving License (14 Foot Lorry) and availability for 5.00pm–9.00pm or 6.00pm–10.00pm shifts, contributing to safe and efficient transportation operations.

Responsibilities

• Transports Company's employees as directed / instructed by the Logistics Supervisor and other designated managers of the Company.
• Observes strictly Traffic Rules and Regulations and maximum speed limits as prescribed by Land Transport Authority (LTA).
• Maintains assigned vehicles clean and in good running condition and carries out maintenance such as washing and housekeeping.
• Arranges for the servicing of the assigned vehicles based on the servicing schedule.
• Carry out routine check-up of the vehicles such as oil, brake function, water, lights and tyre conditions.
• Stops the engine during waiting and idle times either inside or outside client premises or waiting bays.
• Gives careful attention to mounting and dismounting passengers and must always be at sight of passengers.
• Drives the vehicles safely and comfortably always exercising defensive driving while on the road to prevent traffic accidents.
• Parks the vehicles at designated parking areas at all times.
• Reports any traffic accident involving the vehicle he is driving immediately to the Logistics Superintendent.
• Observes strictly all safety and other operational rules, regulations, policies and directives regarding driving the Company's vehicles, including the prohibition of sleeping in the vehicles and using the vehicles for non-company business.
