Key Responsibilities
End-User Computing & Device Management
- Manage the complete lifecycle of end-user devices, including provisioning, configuration, patching, upgrades, and decommissioning.
- Administer and maintain endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Intune and SCCM.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex endpoint, desktop, and workspace-related issues.
- Ensure devices remain compliant with organisational standards and security policies.
Workspace & Collaboration Technologies
- Support and administer Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- Maintain and enhance collaboration and productivity platforms.
- Support and troubleshoot virtual desktop environments, including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and other VDI technologies.
Security & Identity Management
- Implement and maintain endpoint security solutions, including BitLocker, Microsoft Defender, and device compliance policies.
- Support identity and access management using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Conditional Access.
- Ensure endpoint environments meet internal security, audit, and compliance requirements.
User Support & Operations
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for workspace-related incidents and service requests.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) to identify and resolve recurring issues.
- Collaborate closely with the Service Desk and Infrastructure teams to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
- Participate in incident, problem, and change management activities following ITIL best practices.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
- Create and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and operational runbooks.
- Support technology refresh initiatives, pilot programmes, and proof-of-concept (POC) activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation, AI, and process optimisation.
Skills & Experience
Essential Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in a Workspace Technology, End User Computing (EUC), Desktop Engineering, or similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and SCCM (mandatory).
- Hands-on experience supporting Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), VDI, or similar virtual desktop environments (mandatory).
- Strong experience supporting Windows 11 in an enterprise environment.
- Experience administering Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Group Policy, endpoint security, and device compliance.
- Basic to intermediate PowerShell ing skills.
- Familiarity with ITIL service management processes.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms.
- Exposure to Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Modern Workplace technologies.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust security principles.
- Experience with endpoint automation and workspace optimisation.
- Exposure to regulated, audit, or compliance-driven environments.
- Microsoft certifications such as MD-102, Microsoft 365, Azure, or ITIL Foundation are advantageous.
