Responsibilities

About the Team: High ethical standards and a culture of integrity are crucial for the Ethics Office to achieve its vision. The Ethics Office guides ethical leadership and decision-making; develops, educates, and raises awareness of internal policies; and manages investigations.

Position Summary: We seek an individual with a legal, ethics, or compliance background for the APAC region, including South East Asia, Australia, India, Japan, and Korea. The candidate will drive programs establishing new ways of working, such as investigations, disciplinary processes, policy/SOP creation, and regional ethics training.

  • Conduct and handle investigations and disciplinary actions independently.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including Employment Legal and HRBP, to support investigations and disciplinary procedures.
  • Improve current policies by staying updated on APAC jurisdiction developments, working with Ethics leaders and global teams to amend policies, and promoting training and awareness through various channels.
  • Lead ethics projects and initiatives to enhance policy frameworks, increase knowledge, and build Ethics & Compliance capabilities.
  • Participate in developing and delivering training, evaluating its effectiveness and employee perceptions of ethical culture.
  • Promote employee awareness and engagement on ethics and integrity, including education on the Code of Conduct and related policies.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in ethics, compliance, legal, or related functions.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., anti-bribery, data privacy, Code of Conduct).
  • Proven ability to manage allegations and investigations effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with cross-functional working experience locally and internationally.
  • Hands-on approach with a bias for action and flexibility for a rapidly growing company.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple stakeholders and programs.
  • Experience in technology companies or conducting in-house investigations is highly preferred.
  • High learning agility and problem-solving skills in complex situations.
