Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Survey, Contracts Management or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in construction or interior fit-out estimation.
• Strong understanding of material, labour, and equipment costs; familiarity with industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specs, and construction documents.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve estimation discrepancies.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams; proficient with estimation software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender documentation for corporate retail and interior fit‑out projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client requirements.
• Analyse project plans, drawings, and specifications to identify all necessary materials, labour, and equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and subcontractors to gather and validate cost information.
• Conduct site measurement, when required.
• Develop comprehensive cost breakdowns and provide recommendations to optimise project budgets.
• Participate in project planning and review meetings to provide estimation expertise.
• Assist in preparing variation order and progress claims.
• Assist in finalising project accounts.
• Maintain and update cost databases and historical records to enhance future estimating efforts.
