  • Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturer (Electrical Power Distribution, Control and Automation Systems)
  • Position Title: Estimation Engineer / Project Costing Officer
  • Working Location: Tuas Crescent (Transportation Provided)
  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.15am - 5.45pm
  • Salary Package: Up to $4000 + AWS + Variable Bonus
  • Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Estimate and cost switchboards and related products.
  • Prepare quotations, compile technical data, brochures, catalogues, and layout drawings for client submissions.
  • Manage indoor and telephone sales inquiries.
  • Support Sales Engineers with order follow-ups.
  • Develop and improve computerized methods for costing, estimation, and quotations.
  • Review and compare estimated costs with actual expenses for awarded jobs, managing budgets accordingly.
  • Ensure the accuracy and acceptability of costing levels.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing Department to source components or parts for optimization and cost-effectiveness when needed.
  • Assist with internal or external coordination tasks.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by supervisors.
  • Adhere to Quality Management System procedures for effective implementation and control.
  • Carry out other tasks as directed by supervisors.
