What the role is:

Estate Manager (Planning & Projects)


What you will be working on:

  • As an Estate Manager (EM) in the Sales Department's Planning Section, you will drive operational excellence and enhance service delivery through data-driven insights and strategic planning.
  • Your role involves:
  1. Developing and maintaining comprehensive dashboards to monitor service standards and derive business intelligence;
  2. Managing data analytics and responding to stakeholder data requests with accurate, timely insights;
  3. Analysing housing trends to support evidence-based planning and service improvements;
  4. Preparing strategic recommendations and updates for Management through reports and presentations;
  5. Contributing to policy reviews and public communications through research and analysis;
  6. Supporting stakeholder engagement and public education initiatives.
  • During your employment, you may also be rotated to take on the role of a Customer Relations Manager, to deliver quality services to applicants and residents of HDB flats and facilitate home ownership.
  • You will be involved in assessing applicants’ eligibility to buy a new/resale HDB flat, receive CPF housing grants and take an HDB housing loan, providing guidance towards informed housing and prudent financing decisions or processing sales applications from registration of application to issuing of keys or resale transactions of HDB flats.
  • You will assess and respond to appeals from customers who deviate from eligibility conditions, prepare case reports, and draft submissions for management's consideration of deserving cases.
  • Your duties will include day-to-day liaison with appellants/flat applicants, solicitors and relevant agencies.
  • Additionally, you will process Enhanced CPF Housing Grant applications from flat buyers and perform the role of Duty Manager at the counters, attending to cases escalated by Customer Relations Executives.

  • What we are looking for:

    • Good background in Estate Management, Communications or Social Sciences
    • A few years of managerial experience
    • Strong personal integrity, responsible and organised
    • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
    • Versatile and resourceful
    • Able to work independently and as a team
    • A customer-service mindset and the ability to establish rapport with people at all levels

    Successful candidates will be offered a 1+1 year contract. All applicants will be notified on whether they are shortlisted for the position within 4 weeks of the closing date of this job posting.
