Housing and Development Board is seeking an Estate Manager (Customer Relations) to deliver quality housing services to applicants and residents. You will assess eligibility for flat purchases, CPF housing grants, and HDB loans, and handle sales and resale transactions with a focus on accuracy and service excellence.

You will also respond to appeals, prepare case reports, and liaise with applicants, residents, solicitors, and agencies.

What the role is:

The Estate Manager (Customer Relations) is responsible for delivering quality housing services to HDB flat applicants and residents by assessing eligibility for flat purchases, CPF housing grants, and HDB housing loans, as well as processing sale and resale transactions.

What you will be working on:

our responsibilities as a customer relations manager are to deliver quality services to applicants and residents of HDB flats and facilitate home ownership. You will be involved in assessing applicants’ eligibility to buy a new/resale HDB flat, receive CPF housing grants and take an HDB housing loan, providing guidance towards informed housing and prudent financing decisions or processing of the sale or resale transactions of HDB flats. You will assess and respond to appeals from customers who deviate from the eligibility conditions to buy an HDB flat, prepare case reports and draft submissions for management’s consideration for deserving cases. Your duties also include the day-to-day liaison with applicants/residents, solicitors and relevant agencies. You may also be rostered to supervise counter operations to ensure they run smoothly, as well as process Enhanced CPF Housing Grant applications from flat buyers. These duties will give you an in-depth appreciation of the HDB flat purchase value chain, and present opportunities to streamline work processes for both our customers and staff.

You should be a good team player with excellent interpersonal skills, possess a customer-service mindset and the ability to establish rapport with people at all levels. Successful candidates will be offered a 1+1-year contract.
