Job summary

A leading company in the drilling industry is seeking an experienced ESH Section Manager to oversee their Environment, Safety & Health team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing ESH policies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and enhancing workplace safety and environmental performance.

Qualifications

• WSH Level C certification; BizSafe Level 2 certified.
• Certified Confined Space Assessor / Work-at-Height Assessor.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, with minimum 3 years in a supervisory role.

Location: Jurong Island (Company Transport Provided)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:45pm
Salary: Up to $5,500

About the Role:
We are seeking a committed and experienced ESH Section Manager to lead our Environment, Safety & Health (ESH) team. You will be responsible for overseeing and implementing ESH policies, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and company standards, and driving continuous improvement in workplace safety and environmental performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the ESH team to meet department KPIs.

• Develop, implement, and monitor ESH programs and initiatives.

• Conduct risk assessments, EAI assessments, and accident investigations.

• Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, SS651, ISO 14001, and other regulatory requirements.

• Liaise with government authorities and external auditors as required.

• Manage vendors and contractors to ensure ESH compliance.

• Oversee ISO management systems and drive continuous improvement.

• Plan, organize, and deploy resources to meet operational needs.
  

Requirements:

• Degree in ESH, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.

· WSH Level C certification; BizSafe Level 2 certified.

· Certified Confined Space Assessor / Work-at-Height Assessor.

· At least 5 years of relevant experience, with minimum 3 years in a supervisory role.

· Strong knowledge in risk assessments, accident investigation & ACTA framework.

• Experienced in vendor management, ISO audits, and liaising with authorities.

• Strong people management, planning, and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication skills with a passion for ESH.
