Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead and manage an ERP system implementation project within our organization. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in system implementation project management, excellent leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of Finance and Procurement systems across various modules. As the ERP Project Manager, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external consultants to ensure the successful delivery of solutions on time, within scope, and within budget.

Job Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:

  • Lead and manage the project from initiation through to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals. Develop detailed project plans, define project scope, and establish project timelines, budgets, and resources. Identify critical paths, monitoring and driving completion of interdependent activities to meet overall completion deadline. Manage the project scope and change control mechanism.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead cross-functional project teams, including business users, IT teams, and third-party vendors. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for CXO, business stakeholders, ensuring regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues. Facilitate communication between IT and business departments to align project goals with organizational objectives.

Risk and Issue Management:

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues and provide solutions to ensure projects remain on track.

Resource Management:

  • Ensure the proper allocation of resources and manage project team capacity. Work with relevant departments to ensure necessary resources (personnel, software, hardware) are available.

Budget and Cost Management:

  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial constraints. Track and report on project costs throughout the project lifecycle.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that the system implementation is of high quality, meeting the business requirements and compliance standards. Conduct reviews and testing of project deliverables.

Change Management:

  • Oversee the change management process, ensuring proper documentation and training are provided to end-users. Ensure changes to business processes are smoothly integrated into the organization. Support business users during the transition to the new system.

Post-Implementation Support:

  • Coordinate post-implementation activities, including the resolution of issues, ongoing enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in ERP project management or implementation, with hands-on experience in multiple SAP modules (e.g. SAP S/4HANA, SAP FICO, SAP MM, SAP SD).

  • Proven track record of managing complex ERP projects from conception to completion.

  • A PMP, SAP certification, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.

  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and close projects successfully.

  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP solutions and their integration with other business applications.

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and CXO/senior management.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or similar).

  • Highly detail-oriented with a strategic mindset.

  • Ability to develop and maintain respectful and trusting relationships.

  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Self-motivated with a positive “can do” attitude, providing solutions to issues collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with proper follow up and closure.

  • Excellent presentation skills.

  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
