Job summary

Morgan Stanley in Singapore seeks an Equity Swaps Client Ops professional to support all client-related activities from trading through settlement, including trade allocation, confirmations and query resolution. You will work with regional Client Relationship Management to resolve issues, maintain controls, and partner with Trading, Technology and Control teams to service clients post-trade.

Qualifications

• University degree with min. 4 years of experience in an Operations role.
• Experience with global investment bank, Equity Derivatives Swaps product knowledge and client service experience.
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle and allocation processes to manage high volumes and deadlines.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Experience in dealing with sales/traders and clients.
• Good communication and organizational skills across locations.
• Detail oriented with strong risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Allocate equity swap trades and manage trade lifecycle from execution through allocation and downstream processing.
• Investigate and resolve trade breaks and discrepancies, monitor unmatched or aged trades and escalation risks.
• Support client onboarding, trade setup, and confirmations.
• Maintain strong operational controls and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Partner with Trading, Technology, and Control teams to service Morgan Stanley's clients for their post‑trade execution and settlement process.
• Maintaining effective risk controls over clients' trading activities, and review internal risk and exception reports.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual touchpoints to increase efficiency and mitigate risk.
• Providing back up support and coverage for other functional teams in Singapore Asia Branch Operations.

Job description

We are seeking someone to join the Singapore Equity Swaps Client Ops Team and will be responsible for supporting all client-related activities for Equity Swaps from the point of trading through to settlement, including trade allocation, trade confirmation and customer query resolution.

The role will also involve resolving/ escalating client queries and issues, in conjunction with the regional Client Relationship Management team. The objective is to maintain a high level of value added service and to partner with the Business Unit and Operations Management to address key internal and client issues and manage risk. The CCP team always seeks to respond rapidly to clients' needs and developments within the industry, making it a constantly changing environment, which demands high performance from the individuals in the team. Clients have a named point of contact within Morgan Stanley, who can respond effectively to their queries.

The individual will report to the team manager based in Singapore and will also work very closely with the Operations teams in the region.

What you'll do in the role:

What you’ll bring to the role
