Job description

We are currently working with a leading Global Asset Manager on an Equity Analyst (India Coverage) position to be based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth fundamental research on Indian companies, including quantitative analysis of financial statements, operational metrics, earnings forecasts, and valuation models.
• Identify mid-cap companies with strong core competencies and long-term earnings potential in a dynamic business environment.
• Monitor macroeconomic trends in the region.
• Make independent investment decisions on straightforward matters within predefined limits.
• Participating in weekly and quarterly investment meetings and contributing to discussions.
• Assisting Investment Directors and Fund Managers by tracking model portfolios, maintaining financial models and spreadsheets, updating market and securities databases, and preparing regular reports.
• Supporting the preparation of materials for investment meetings and client presentations.

Job Requirements:

• At least 5 years of prior experience either on the buy side or sell side in equity research or as an equity analyst.
• Track record of covering sectors including consumer, manufacturing and industrials.
• Strong prior experience covering the India market.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
