Job summary

The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited in Singapore is seeking an experienced Equities Day Dealer – Dealing Plus to join our Wealth Management dealing team. This role combines high-quality equities execution with ownership of the equities trading platform, including platform enhancements, incident management, and delivering regulatory change.

Qualifications

• Relevant equities dealing or trading experience in wealth management or related areas.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into platform enhancements.
• Strong ownership, judgement and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Singapore regulatory qualifications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute client orders across global cash equities and ETFs with high-quality execution.
• Own the equities trading platform, improving functionality and user experience.
• Triage and resolve trading and platform issues with cross-functional teams.
• Manage incidents from identification through remediation with clear communications.
• Represent the business in platform changes, testing and implementation.
• Build partnerships with RM/Investment Advisors, Operations and Technology.
• Maintain strong controls and identify trading and operational risks.
