For equipment maintenance, equipment repair and troubleshooting, records and reports, documentation and standard operating procedures, cost efficiency, improvement, quality, safety and housekeeping with the objective of ensuring smooth business operations within department guidelines and corporate policies. Required to perform 12-hour shift to support the production activities and assist Engineers in equipment improvement activities.

12 hour shift ops support

  • Perform scheduled equipment maintenance in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Equipment repair and troubleshooting in accordance with the standard operating procedure and carry out corrective actions (CAs) per specification.
  • Troubleshoot and repair minor equipment problems and assist in major repair and troubleshooting.
  • Follow SOP and carry out corrective actions (CAs) per specification.
  • Propose improvements to SOP and explain the SOP to ensure Technicians and below adhere to SOP.
  • Assist new Technicians on their On-The-Job-Training (OJT).
  • Maintain records of all shift-related events and activities.
  • Provide proper and accurate passed down of line issues and documentation (fill up and file the checklists).
  • Propose improvements to standard operating procedures.
  • Knowledge of FDC (Fault Detection and Classification) system to monitor and analyze SPC charts.
  • In order to minimize equipment downtime, improve equipment quality, reduce maintenance costs, conform to requirements, and comply with policies and internal guidelines.
  • Coordinate with operators to ensure efficiency of work to meet manufacturing and module objectives.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in the production floor, sub FAB, and maintenance support areas.

Improvement activities and quality aspect

  • Assist in cost reduction activities.
  • Participate in improvement activities/projects to improve productivity and quality of equipment/process.
  • React to and anticipate possible quality issues.
  • Perform preventive actions.
  • In order to achieve cost efficiency and effectiveness, improve overall standard of work and ensure quality of products and services.

Requirements:

Educational Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Microelectronics Engineering.

Technical / Job Knowledge:

  • Strong logical thinking capability and good analytical skills with good ownership and accountability.
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in semiconductor/electronics/electrical industry working in clean room environment.
  • Preference for any prior experience in maintenance of Implant, RTP (Rapid Thermal Processing), PLA (Plasma), or Horizontal or Vertical Furnaces.
