Job description

Summary

As Equipment Specialist for Upstream, you will be responsible for producing pharmaceutical products by executing assigned activities according to the production schedule, in compliance with GMP, work, operating, environmental, and safety instructions and guidelines.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Execute all assigned manufacturing activities according to the production schedule and in compliance with GMP and safety guidelines.
  2. Review batch records in a timely manner.
  3. Ensure proper and timely cleaning, preparation, and sterilization of production equipment and rooms.
  4. Maintain production area housekeeping, including cleaning and 5S practices.
  5. Perform sampling, aliquoting, distribution, and in-process controls.
  6. Manage consumables necessary for operations, such as filters, resins, connections, bags, reagents, gas, and WCB.
  7. Conduct daily checks of manufacturing equipment, support devices, and rooms.
  8. Execute complex setups and changeovers of machine components or format parts independently.
  9. Provide first-level support for equipment issues.
  10. Conduct on-the-job training for equipment operators.

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Engineering or Sciences.
  • Proficient in English.
  • No prior experience required; experience is an advantage.
  • High level of conscientiousness and care, including documentation, order, and cleanliness.
  • Understanding of technical processes/products and troubleshooting skills.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Team player with good team spirit.
  • Constructive, flexible, solution-oriented, responsible, and with a deep understanding of quality.
