Job summary

Skyworks Global Pte Ltd is seeking an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to evaluate, select, and maintain manufacturing equipment, ensuring cost-effective operations. You will oversee installation, upgrades, and preventive maintenance while coordinating with design and repair teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience, strong tool knowledge, and good interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years' experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and MES software (PROMIS, FDC, SEC/GEM, UtilEyes).
• Experience with diagnostic tools: digital multimeter, hand tools, vacuum diagnostics.
• Ability to apply professional concepts and company policies to resolve issues.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Experience in solder printing, bump flattening and lamination tools.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, select and order cost-effective equipment for manufacturing.
• Oversee installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain records on equipment manufacturers' notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
• Study equipment performance and reliability.
• Develop uptime improvement programs and solutions for equipment problems.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering teams.
• Define and write preventative maintenance schedules and related documents.
• Tackle problems of moderate scope by analyzing multiple factors.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external personnel.
• Supervise routine work teams.
