Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled Equipment Engineer to support the manufacturing floor in Singapore. You will evaluate and select equipment, oversee installation and maintenance, and ensure high uptime for critical production lines.

The role requires a diploma or bachelor's in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering, with 3–6 years of experience in Disco/Wet Benches. Laser and wafer fab equipment experience is a plus, and cleanroom work is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with laser and wafer fab equipment is a plus.
• Willingness to overtime and to work in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records on equipment notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
• Study equipment performance and reliability to improve uptime.
• Develop preventative maintenance schedules and related documentation.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and process engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, selects and orders equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products.
• Oversees the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Maintains current records on equipment manufacturers’ technical notices, upgrades and safety issues.
• Studies equipment performance and reliability.
• Establishes programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.
• Provides technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations.
• Defines and writes preventative maintenance schedules & prepare all required & related documents for Equipment.
• Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
• Works cross-functionally and interacts with internal & external personnel.
• Supervisor for normal work Team.

Required Experience and Skills

• Diploma with minimum 5 years relevant working experiences or bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering.
• Had minimum 3~6 experienced in Disco / Wet Benches equipment experience.
• Additional experienced in laser and wafer fab equipment will be added value.
• Able to perform overtime work (if require), including working in a cleanroom environment.
• Able to work well with minimal supervision and ability to prioritize tasks and follow specific procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal Skill.
