Job description

ALG is seeking a skilled and proactive Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our client's Plant Facilities team. The role focuses on maintaining production equipment and plant facilities, ensuring smooth operations and optimal performance.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and implement a preventive maintenance program for all production equipment and plant facilities.

• Fabricate jigs and fixtures to support manufacturing processes.

• Address maintenance and repair requests from various departments.

• Log and track maintenance work orders, TPM downtime, compressor operation hours, hot work permits, and equipment checklists.

• Oversee daily start-up of production and facilities machinery.

• Ensure upkeep of facility services, including air conditioning, sprinkler systems, plumbing, power, and lighting etc

• Perform scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).

• Conduct weekly Single Point Training sessions for production operators.

Job Requirements

• NITEC or Higher NITEC in Electrical or Mechatronic Technology.

• Proficiency in computer skills like MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Relevant experience in Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance.
