Job summary

REC Group is seeking a hands-on Equipment Engineer to support maintenance and continuous improvement within the Modules manufacturing plant. You will drive reliability, uptime, and quality while steering TPM/PM activities, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics engineering, with exposure to automation, PLCs, and sensors. Willingness to work shifts; domestically/regionally flexible opportunities may apply.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Exposure to automation systems, pneumatic systems, servo/linear motion systems, motors, sensors, and electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with PLC systems and industrial automation is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to support shift, standby, or weekend activities.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the performance and reliability of assigned equipment, driving improvements in Quality, Uptime, Throughput, Cost, and OEE through systematic problem solving, design enhancements, and machine optimization.
• Plan, execute & optimize Preventive Maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance (PDM), and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities according to planned schedules and standards.
• Perform advanced & systematic equipment troubleshooting and root cause analysis to minimize downtime and prevent recurrence of failures.
• Coordinate equipment-related activities with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of maintenance and production operations.
• Drive continuous improvement of equipment performance through design modifications, reliability enhancements, and machine optimization.
