An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Equipment Engineer to ensure optimal performance of semiconductor equipment. This role involves troubleshooting, managing maintenance schedules, and liaising with vendors for efficient operations. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and have a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in semiconductor equipment. Scope:
First line troubleshooting for equipment related issues
Manage the scheduled and unscheduled equipment maintenance and Post PM process recovery
Vendor management (scheduling, quotation, PM/CM report preparation on vendor activities and equipment training)
Responsible for equipment uptime and liaison with process control team and equipment vendors for resolving escalations and SPC deviation.
Works with process module development team, process control team and vendor to ensure flawless operations.
Support internal audits as needed for ISO certification
Documentation and sustaining of Equipment related SOP (PM/CM SOP, BKM, etc.)
Conduct technical trainings and disseminate knowhows to teammate
Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering
Preferably with minimum 2 years of semiconductor equipment engineering experience (in the domain of Etch, PVD, PECVD) with hands-on equipment troubleshooting experience
Systematic and logical thinking. Embrace and committed to investigate and resolve issues with root clause analysis, provide and implement engineering solutions. (i.e. RCA, DOE, FMEA, 8D, some programming skills etc) is an advantage
Candidate must be comfortable to communicate with inter-department at any technical level
Must be a self-starter, independent and self-motivated.
